Amax Electrical is a family business since 1988. Our first Solar install was in 2007, since then we have completed over 2100 domestic PV installations, and many large commercial Solar PV installations.

Our Solar Certified Electricians, and in house trained apprentices are committed to a quality and safe installation, we don't use subcontractors.
There is a large range of Solar PV components on the market and the quality varies significantly. With the panels being expected to generate power for 25 years, we believe the manufacturer’s experience and warranty backing are crucial criteria in the evaluation of Solar PV systems. We use the best quality panels and inverters and use local suppliers and distributors.

Very efficient and friendly
The whole process went smoothly with good accurate information provided by Ansrew over the phone. Once we acepted the quote, which was the cheapest by a fair bit, the install was arrangd and done in less than 2 weeks. The installation was great, the tradies friendly and respectful and no mess left behind. Who can complain!08 November 2020
Great service.
I am very happy with Amex Electrical’s service and installation. I was dreading the three quotes, I’m very busy and hate the rejection calls. One installer provided too much technical jargon, another insisted on changing my house rewire design. Amex Electrical was the only installer that came out on site an on time to assess our needs without financial obligation.17 September 2020

Having installed solar at a previous house we were very conscious of finding a reputable company that used quality products, provided good after sale service and at a competitive price. Using 'Solarquotes' was the first correct decision we made. All three quotes were excellent, however it came down to install timeline, preferred panels and inverter and previous references. We chose Andrew McIntosh and his team from Amax Electrical and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wishing to install a solar system. They were knowledgable about their products, quotes professionally, were extremely punctual and polite and left the job site clean and tidy. All correspondence has been submitted and we are very happy with choosing the Fronius inverter as it allows for tracking anywhere and anytime. I am glad Andrew explained the advantages of a quality inverter. We cannot speak highly enough of Andrew and his team at Amax Electrical.Panel rating: 5/5

Highly recommended
We engaged Amax Electrical to design and install a solar system to our family home. We found Andrew and his team excellent to deal with and cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism, expert advice, timeliness and high standard of installation. From day one through to finalising all paperwork and Andrew running through the completed system the entire process was straightforward. We have since recommended Amax to several family member and friends who have all received the same great service. 10/10 guys!

Great customer service. I was new to the solar world and had a thousand questions after doing my internet research. Andrew was very patient and explained things to me in a manner that I trusted so I felt confident going with his quote. His price was competitive and I really liked the fact that they were a local family business that has been around for a long time. I'm not expecting any problems with the system (it has good quality components) but if there was to be a problem for some reason, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Andrew again and I'm sure he would sort it out.Panel rating: 5/5
