German supermarket giant Aldi has partnered with Sydney-based consumer appliance supplier Tempo Group to sell solar-and-battery packages.
In early 2025 the multinational supermarket chain — first founded in Germany — launched Aldi Solar in Australia, initially restricting sales to Melbourne only.
Aldi Solar has set out to offer budget systems in line with their reputation for affordable shopping.
The initial systems offered include Altius panels manufactured by Horay Solar and inverters by Afore.
