Company Info
While offering a very wide range of electrical products and describing itself in rather glowing terms, Deta doesn't do much in the way of supplying solid information. How long the company has been around for, how it has evolved or production processes/location are a bit of a mystery. Even its Australian head office location isn't mentioned, although judging by the phone number, it's in Melbourne.
Deta EV Chargers
The company offers a couple of options - one single phase and the other three phase.
Single Phase 7 kW
The EVA32107A-HA is a wall mounted IP54-rated EV charger with 7kW output. Operating status, configuration and history can be viewed and adjusted via the charger's touch screen or Grid Connect smart home automation app. There's protection against under/ over and residual current, under/over voltage, surge and leakage, short circuit, overheating and an emergency stop button thrown in for good measure.
Three-Phase 11kW
The three-phase EVA16311A-HA has all the features of the single-phase model, but offers more power.
As for any other further details about these chargers there's really not much to say as Deta doesn't volunteer a lot of information - no measurements, solar compatibility, cable lengths, datasheets, manufacturing country of origin details or other information you'd expect to find on a company's website.
Warranty Information
Deta's warranty page states its products will be free from defects in production, materials and workmanship due to its high level of manufacturing process control. That's wonderful, but it doesn't tell you how long the product warranty is or related terms and conditions. A search on the term "warranty" on the company's web site returns no results. This is a significant oversight as that sort of information should be front and centre.
There's just too much missing information to judge how good (or otherwise) Deta EV chargers might be.
