Headquartered in Italy, WeCo manufactures various lithium-ion batteries; with the models available in Australia able to be connected to either low- or high-voltage inverters.
The WeCo dual voltage 5K3 can be mounted on a wall or installed in a stackable configuration - up to 16 modules without additional components being required in the case of high voltage mode, or 8 modules in low voltage.
Meauring 580 mm x 463 mm x 155 mm and weighing in at 57.3 kg, the WeCo dual voltage 5K3 has an expected service life of 8,000 cycles and is accompanied by a 10 year warranty.
WeCo's CUB8 monitoring system can detect, control and monitor each connected battery pack, and a mobile app is available so owners can keep an eye on things.
It appears WeCo has manufacturing facilities in Italy and China at this point - but a factory in the USA is also on the cards.
