SimpliPhi Power is a U.S company that designs and manufactures LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery energy storage systems for home, commercial and industrial applications. Previously, the company was called LibertyPak, which was established back in 2002.
The company started making the switch from lithium ion batteries containing cobalt to iron phosphate around 2007 due to that chemistry's greater efficiency and safety. Its energy storage products are in use by the U.S. military in harsh environments such as Iraq and Afghanistan.
