Finn's DCS Batteries Review & Verdict
Finn Peacock has been a Chartered Electrical Engineer since 1998, and is ex-CSIRO
The specs and warranty of DCS's PV Series home batteries sound pretty good, but we've had very little feedback on these systems from either end-users or installers. Given that lack of feedback plus reports of DCS suing a critical reviewer of their car batteries, I'm hesitant to recommend them.

DCS PV Series Home Battery
The DCS 15KWh PV Series battery is based on LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) technology and can be used for both hybrid and off-grid systems. DCS says it can be "supercharged" at up to 200Amps / 10.2kW and offers a continuous discharge of 250Amps / 12.8kW. Up to 10 of these packs can be connected in parallel without any additional hardware.
Apparently the systems can handle some pretty harsh conditions; with a IP-67 fully sealed design DCS says is suitable for salty coastal and dusty outback locations. It can tolerate up to 65 degrees C ambient temperatures and is compatible with "every" 48V inverter system on the market, including Victron, Selectronic, SMA, Outback, SolaX, Sungrow, Goodwe and others.
The DCS home battery measures 1271mm x 806mm x 205mm and weighs 190 kilograms.
Warranty Information
Deep Cycle Systems says it offers a 10-year unlimited cycle warranty, and guarantees the PV Series to be above 80% nominal capacity at the 10 year mark.
