There doesn't appear to be much solid information available about Ambrion batteries, but SolarBOS says it has been a supplier of Balance of System (BoS) products to the solar PV market in Australia since 2009.
Ambrion Raybox HS2 Solar Battery
Manufactured in China, the Ambrion Raybox HS2 is touted as an all-in-one solution that uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells. AC-coupled, it has a maximum 16A input current. It's a modular solution, expandable up to 20kWh using Ambrion Raybox BU2-5.0-HV1/5 units (up to 4 battery modules).
It has a UPS function switch time of less than 10ms, and depending on the model, rated AC power output ranges from 3kW to 6kW. The Ambrion Raybox HS2 has an operating temperature range of -10°C to +50°C (>45°C derating)
Monitoring features are offered via the SolarPlant app.
Warranty Information
A warranty document we sighted on the SolarBOS web site indicates the firm provides a standard warranty period of 10 years on the Ambrion Raybox HS2 from the date of commissioning, or 10 years and 6 months from the date of shipment; whichever comes earlier.
SolarBos Pty Ltd also guarantees the battery will retain sixty percent (but also indicates 70% on the same document) of its nominal capacity for 10 years from the commissioning date; or 3.06 MWh per kWh minimum throughput energy
