Listened to what I wanted

Solargain were great. An easy quote over the phone with someone who listened to what I was asking for and quoted accordingly. We chose them not because it was the cheapest, but because they were the best and could deliver what we wanted!

Trouble Free Easy Transaction

Would like to say thanks to the WA team from start to finish the communication was valuable, but not pushy.
Smooth transition throughout the whole process from enquire, to quoting to Installation.

Special mention to Sam who took the time to take calls and answer all queries, made changes to quoting quickly to meet needs and Jess.

Josh and the other installers were amazing, they had the hardest removal of old system to date and still finished on time. Clean up was great and a good handover of working system and app.

Would thoroughly recommend Solar Gain as a solar provider.

Great overall experience

Ryan, my sales person, was very polite, professional and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I had many questions, which he took time to answer with patience and obvious experience. He understood and explained in detail the answers to all of my concerns. A very knowledgeable sales person who obviously wants what is best for his customers.
The installers were also extremely helpful polite and professional. What a great bunch of young guys, who work together so well. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were very accommodating in assisting me with the best places to locate my inverter and battery etc. They also explained the functionality of everything in detail and did not leave until they were happy that I was happy with everything. Well done Solargain.

Terrific from quote to install

Terrific service from Solargain from the quote to installation - Thanks Ricardo and to the office admin staff. (Was the only provider from 4 contacted that bothered to attend premises when quoting). All paperwork submitted on my behalf.

The two young men that attended were professional and knew their stuff. Installation carried out flawlessly. Tidied up after themselves and ran through the process to connect the monitoring app and took the time to explain things as they went along.

Convinced Hubby!

It took me a few years to talk him into it, a big worry for him was finding trustworthy companies, but no one is prouder of our new solar system than my previously reluctant hubby! SolarQuotes eliminated his problem in presenting us with 3 proven companies to contact. Solargain were friendly & patient as well as professional in their quoting approach, giving us a lot of information on every aspect of choice of panels & inverter, and coming in at a competitive price for our choices, thank you Graham. Installer Mick was prompt & friendly, even the defending plover on our flat roof was treated with calm respect, and when he left we were already connected to the grid & producing our own energy! Now nothing is more fun than watching the Universe production & distribution app & realising we can turn all 4 aircons on as well as the pool & washing machine entirely for free!

Solar system upgrade from 2.3kw to 6.6kw

This our second solar system installed by solargain the first one we had no issues they were very professional the second system 6.6kw 15 panels the quote was very competitive, and the sale rep Ryan Costello took the time to come to our house to explain all our options he was very knowledgeable and not pushy.
The Installation was seamless the installers was very polite, professional, tidy and punctual and explained everything at completion. Solargains customer service was very good.

Professional installation and service

The service from Solargain office was very professional, prompt and accurate.
Installers were also very professional, polite, tidy and installation completed to a high standard.
The one drawback to the whole experience was the extra charge to move the circuit box from adjacent the switchboard position to be mounted beside the inverter. The extra charge being for additional material and labour. We were quoted and paid for 2 days to install the system, the install was completed in 1 day. Happy to pay for additional material but I fail to see where there are additional labour costs.

Everything about the Solargain company worked like clockwork. Their online information is clear and factual.
Their representative Leighton was helpful, gave an online pre quote and came to the house for an on site check.
He was punctual, knowledgeable and talked through all the issues.
Installation was within one week.
The installers lead by Daniel were punctual, polite and conveyed the process clearly. They worked quickly, cleaned up well and walked me through the system.
The supporting office staff sent through information quickly and were happy to help with questions.
All up you could not get a better company and I highly recommend them.

Finally satisfied

Quoting initially was wrong as there was a incompatibility between the inverter, battery and backup systems, but they discovered that before the installation. Installation delayed because of unavailability of the inverter. In the end the installation all went smoothly and all is working. The installation was five star, neat and careful. Very happy chappy.

SolarGain iStore Inverter + 10kw battery + Longi Panels: 3 day review

Sales and quoting process was fantastic. Ricardo came in person and explained everything to me in detail. The process was open and transparent. Ricardo remained in contact with me for weeks, patiently answering calls and questions before we finally went with the iStore system. I have recently bought an iStore heat pump water heater and was impressed with the build quality hence went with this system.

The install day was uneventful and the electrician Jack was very professional. Unfortunately we lost 12 roof tiles in the process but they were able to replace it with spares that I had. The panels were well aligned and neatly arranged.

The post install app is very easy to use. Showing me details such as the time my battery is fully charged (usually before 12 noon on a typical Perth day) and the amount of battery left. The battery can only be discharged 95% with 5% always left in reserve. This gives us enough power to last well beyond 9pm where the Synergy EV plan discount rates kick in. I highly recommend the team at SolarGain.

Professional experience throughout

The entire process from the initial visit by the salesperson through to the installation and after installation was extremely professional. The sales rep, took significant time to address all of my questions, with understandable quality information and provided links to independent sources.
Installation was organised in a very timely manner with good information provided from Solargain to explain each step and details of the system and the installation.
The installation guys arrived on time, had to wait for the rain to pass, and then immediately got into action. The install was completed within a few hours.
The system is up and running with no issues three weeks after installation.

Installing process nicely

We have 3 companies who gave us the quotes for different systems and different designs. We have many chances to select which one is the best suitable for our roof.
After installing completed there’s a technical came for inspection.
But we couldn’t set up to monitor what’s going on with the system until we make the final payment.
After we paid there’s no one to help setup and guide us how to monitor the system.

Great price, quality, service!

Seamless experience throughout the whole process, including quote/sales to pre-install communication and installation. Amazingly both teams arrived at the scheduled time within 15-mins of each other (Plumbers for Hot Water System and Electricians for Solar) and were both professional, friendly, happy to answer questions, and clearly communicated time frames for water & power outages. Best range of product configurations compared to other providers and very competitive prices for combo deals on Solar & Hot Water. Good to known the local team has been operating for a long time as well. System was so well designed that it was generating maximum output almost immediately after installation. Highly recommend you reach out to Solargain for a quote!

If they’re happy to install in your area they should be happy to service it. I’ve had warranty issues take months with no resolution as they can’t/won’t send a technician out of Sydney.

The original installation was quick but they left rubbish in eaves, ceiling space and in cavities where they were too slack to take down with them and thought no-one would ever notice. Grubs. Poor workmanship there. I wouldn’t hire them again.

Solar panel replacement

The initial service identified that the present system after 15 years had died. Useful discussions on replacement options and followed by 3 options and quotes. Easy system to follow and arrange the work. Good exchanges by email and phone as necessary. Managed to have an earlier installation than originally in diary. The installers were prompt and and worked continuously removing old system and installing the new. They were polite, explained the system well and cleaned up the leaf litter from the roof. Even a gift bag on leaving.

I am awaiting the warranty and other details that were meant to arrive before installation but the date did change.

Flawless experience from start to finish!

I had a great experience with Solargain and can’t recommend them enough.

I spoke to several solar company’s but Solargain stood out. The price was competitive with the sales and quote experience sealing the deal, giving me confidence in the rest of the process. Lindsay was by far the best in terms of making an effort to understand my needs and go the extra mile to find a solution and matching competitive quote that fitted those needs. She was always available for any questions I had.

Great communication throughout

We were very impressed with the professionalism throughout the process of obtaining solar electricity for our house. communication (both on the phone and via email) was commendable.

The installers were excellent while installing the system. They were punctual, and efficient. They spent a good amount of time explaining everything we needed to know post installation.

Sales responsive, Installation Great, system perfect.

The Solar Gain Design/Salesperson was good and responsive to my questions. The Installation crew from PROSUN Electrics were Courteous , Careful , Genuine and Professional. The energy provided as of the third day was amazing. We had a system before which was removed ; and they allowed us time to paint the roof underneath the old system before coming back. Two days was all it took for the installation. Apart from a battery limit issue at the start, all is running well. I was too eager to get online with my Fronius' Solar.Web' and I believe I took control of the Inverter before the Designer had set it up corrrectly. We are waiting on that outcome. It was a bit concerning, for the life of the battery, that the battery was left to discharge to 22% and the was recharged back up top 100% by 10AM the following day.
